Distinguish Lua errors from taint before reporting a problem.
Identify the message
We should explain that there are 2 main types of "errors" you can recieve. One is what we often refer to is a "taint" and the other is your typical Lua error. ADDON_ACTION_BLOCKED indicates a blocked protected action, often discussed as taint. The addon named in the message does not by itself identify the cause. Lua errors include a message and stack trace.
Prepare a report
Record the triggering action, game and addon versions, and complete error. Test for addon interactions and follow support channel pins.
